Well, WordPress 3.0 has arrived! The new theme (twenty ten) is very very cool and the fact that MU is merged is really cool. I help people with MU sometimes and MU just seems to look and feel like some old versions of WP that I don’t miss at all. That won’t be the case anymore.. both versions will now upgrade simultaneously.
There seems to be growing pains for a lot of people when something big and significant changes (like the FaceBook interface or an Operating System for example), and WP is no different. But for me I’m excited when WP updates and I get my hands dirty right away.. Let me know if you run into any issues, I’ll do my best to help out.

nice post keith, i just upgraded to WP 3.0 and took a quick look at the dashboard and as far as i can see it looks the exact same, maybe im missing something?

There are ton of “behind the scene” type fixes..plus… the new theme.. and the interface is slightly different, you don’t see it? it is very subtle… the new menus, here’s a bigger list of changes.
