This seems like a great way to build a community around your blog. Also if you have a blog targeted at web site owners, like you do it probably attracts allot of targeted traffic.
Also nice scripting with the response colours.

Hi Wendy…when it’s your first time commenting it will wait in the queue…once approved, any comments from you that follow will usually be added automatically…there are a few exceptions…like if there are too many links in the comment, etc.

In order to get my comments a different color I edited the comments file in my theme. I ran an if test to see if the comment was from the admin and if so…I changed the color.

There may be a plugin that does it. If you are comfortable editing the theme and want the code, shoot me an email and I’ll dig it up for ya.

I have just started using commentluv and think it has made a difference

My blog is fairly new but since I started using commentluv it seems that my visits have increased.

What I am curious about is how on earth you got your responses to comments to be in a different colour (color??) ??

Honestly I cant say Ive ever thought about creating a post prior to commenting on a blog with commentLuv that is related to the article.

I know Ive often said “wish i could change the post thats being shown” afterwards. Cool little tip, thanks for posting it.
