I wrote about this in the past but I wanted to post about it again because it continues to help my bottom line. Also, the original post is so far buried in the archives, this topic needs some fresh air.
One Red Cent A Click For The Top Spot With 7Search PPC
A great way to send traffic to a web site or landing page with pay per click marketing is by using 7Search PPC. It's perfect for beginners in terms of risk and ease of use. It has been steadily sending me targeted converting traffic for over a year now... and cheap traffic at that. It still amazes me when I launch a new campaign for a new niche how many keywords are still available at a penny a click for the top spot.
No Slaps And No Crazy Rules
You don't have to be super particular about how you setup your web pages like you do with Google, MSN and Yahoo. I send traffic to one page static web sites. I haven't added a contact form, about page, terms and conditions page, privacy policy page...none of that stuff. Just a one page site.
Easy But Flexible
Setting up a campaign with 7 Search PPC is very very easy. It has one of the easiest keyword tools that I've ever used. You can't add keywords to your campaign that they don't have statistics for in their database. It is also very flexible in that you can choose to use custom bids, custom ads and custom destination urls for each of your keywords. If you want to get fancy with it just use this format when adding keywords: keyword ** bid ** Custom Title ** Custom Description ** http://custom-destination-url.com. Otherwise, just dump in the keywords that were generated based on your root keyword.
Keyword Stats
7Search provides some great stats for the keywords you are bidding on. They show you the estimated number of searches per month, the estimated number of clicks for the top position and what the top 3 bid amounts are. You will know exactly what to bid to be in the top spot.
Over 200 Countries To Target
When you create a campaign you are able to select specific countries to target from 246 available countries.
Keyword Bidding Tip
When starting a campaign and using a bunch of keywords, it is sometimes just easy to accept the defaults. Don't accept the default when it comes to the bid amount. It defaults at a nickel. And if you are the only bidder you will be paying the nickel! But you don't have to. Drop it to a penny. Also, when you are in the edit bid amounts mode there is a smart bid option. From my experience the smart bid suggests the perfect bid amount 98% of the time. More often than not it was the bid amount I would have chosen myself, plus it doesn't try to make you overbid for them to get more money. It's fair in that regard and gets you in a great spot among the competitors. I use it everytime to simplify things.
Notifications
You can setup notifications so that you will know when you have been outbid which is handy. In fact, I believe it was on by default, but it's been awhile since I started my account.
Give 7Search A Try
All I could say is try 7Search to see if it works for your niche. You will be pleasantly surprised at the volume of searches that 7Search gets for keywords that still have no bids on them.
