Give Away Free Content And Get Paid For It – RevResponse

I joined RevResponse sometime last week. They offer a service that allows you to give away free content (including magazine subscriptions) to practically anyone in the world and they will pay you a minimum of $1.50 for every qualified lead. However, it is uncommon to earn just the bare minimum and you should expect to see much more. Their content categories range from Agriculture to Healthcare to Utility & Energy. As mentioned above, they give you your own mini site or co-branded site with all of their offerings which include your embedded ID so that you earn a commission. (I have yet to get mine customized) Included on the co-branded site is an RSS feed that you can publicize on an RSS directory or anywhere that allows your RSS feed to be shown. You can then earn commissions from the free giveaways right from the RSS feed. Add it to BlogLines.com and keep it public. Also write a decent article and put it on Squidoo and/or HubPages and include your RSS feed there. The natural traffic that those sites can get alone could make this a profitable venture for you.

The dashboard or admin panel is very easy to use. You can get code to include on your site quickly. You can customize all of the widgets by category, color scheme, etc. The system works well and from my experience so far the staff are extremely helpful and offer advice specific to your needs.

2nd Level Commissions

By letting other people know that they can give away free stuff and make money, you will be paid 20% of the earnings that they generate for the first 6 months. It would be nice if it was “for life” rather than 6 months but that still isn’t too bad.

Final Thoughts

Providing something of value to people and not requiring that they spend any money is a great thing in my opinion. Couple that with being able to earn some cash while giving away stuff for free is also a great thing. The only question being, why the heck are they giving away this stuff for free? The information that they are giving away is definitely valuable but by giving it away what are they getting out if it? Well, the magazines are going to contain some advertising of course, and the more people that get the magazine, the more eye balls will be on the ads. Makes sense and it’s a fair way to do business. Some of the magazines are also on a trial basis. They will give a few issues away free in hopes that the subscription is continued.
