Posting Ads & Articles at USFreeAds

USFreeAds is a great place to post ads and articles that include your affiliate links. It's especially great if you are just starting out and you don't have your own web site to post content. You can use your ads as landing pages for your CPC campaigns and you can also expect a lot of search engine traffic as well. Google visits the site constantly and if you optimize your ad with a low competition keyword you can get listed at the top of Google's search results quickly.

There are very few restrictions when using USFreeAds. Out of all the tasteful things that you can promote I think the only thing they don't allow is pet affiliate programs. Everything else, I believe, is fair game.

I created my account with them in June of 2007. I started making money on autopilot in August. It brings in more than enough to justify paying the $9.99 per month that they charge. It's quick to create an ad and you can have as many as you want. I have ads sitting in there that have kept me on the first page of Google for some time now. The flexibility is great. There aren't any restrictions that make me feel limited. I use as many photos as I want and include as many affiliate links as I want. You can create your ad in HTML view or in a word processor like view. There may be some limitation to how many photos that they will host for you per ad but it is more than enough for me and if I ever were to reach the limit the flexibility to include my own HTML will allow me to include an image that is hosted elsewhere.

Some of the projects that I will be discussing on this blog will take advantage of USFreeAds. Try it for two months and if you haven't earned more than the $20 you paid, cancel your account. Once you get the hang of it you can create a well optimized ad with a highly searched, low competition keyword in less than 10 minutes. Put one (or more) up a day and check your stats. It has been a quick and easy and profitable solution for me. Diversity is the key. Have multiple revenue streams coming in and you can't go wrong.

Use the steps below to create your 3-day free trial account at USFreeAds:

• Go to USFreeAds (will open in new window)
• Click the "advertise" link in the top menu
• Click the "register for a new account" link
• Scroll towards the bottom and click the "Premium Membership" link
• Scroll towards the bottom of the page and click the 1st "click here" link you see which is in the 2nd paragraph
• Scroll to the bottom and click "Click here to sign up for our free 3-day trial!"
• Agree to the terms and click Continue
• Register with your user name, email address, etc.

To create an ad at USFreeAds, use the steps below:

• Go to USFreeAds and login (will open in new window)
• Click the "advertise" link in the top menu
• Choose an appropriate category and subcategory
• Click the "I don't want to place this ad in a personal category" link
• Choose the 2nd option "Enhanced classified using our easy to use HTML tools"
• Enter a title using the keyword you want to optimize for
• Enter 0 for the price
• When creating my ad I try to follow these guidelines:
  • 300-400 characters roughly
  • include a photo
  • include a bulleted list
  • include a hyperlinked call to action like "Click Here" in a larger font
  • include your keyword as a hyperlink
  • include your keyword a couple times throughout
  • include your keyword at the very end of the ad and italicize it
  • Note: there are no hard and fast rules for this, test and see what works
• Optionally enter your affiliate URL in the link box
• Save the ad and maybe social bookmark it and/or try a YouTube video to send traffic
