I talked a little bit the other day about Pepperjam. It's the most recent affiliate network that I have joined. From what I have read, I can be confident that Pepperjam will have higher payouts on most offers than other networks. On offers where they may fall short though...I can talk directly with the merchant (in real time) to negotiate higher payouts.
A slick feature that Pepperjam has is Pepperjam ChatTM. They describe it as follows:

You are able to chat in real-time with the merchants! As far as I know this isn't a feature that is available with any of the other affiliate networks. (don't quote me on that though)
I was reading through a blog post on Pepperjam's blog and came across one with, I think it was, top 10 ways to get higher payouts from merchants. Number 1 was...simply ask, you'll be surprised what they are willing to do....even for new affiliates...
