There are sooo many ways to make money online but people over complicate things a lot of the time. Let me explain something that may help to simplify the process a little more. At the end of this post I will link to some videos that will fill in all of the gaps.
Forget niche markets for a minute. Sometimes they are just too tough to tackle. I want something a little easier. I'm still feeling a little greedy though and want to OWN a market, just not a niche market. Instead I want to own a keyword niche market.
A keyword niche market is a group of people that think similarly in how they search online. That group of people, I want to buy from me from now on. Really, you could think of this keyword niche market as being one person at a time. That person searches for something, I funnel them to my page, give them what they want and wait for the next person. These people have one thing in common for certain. They used the same keywords in the search engines to find my page. I already missed out on a lot of sales from this group because I waited until I knew enough people were coming, but that's ok. You see, there is usually consistency with this. If a bunch of people were looking last month for the product I plan to offer, it's very safe to assume that a bunch of people will be looking for it this month as well. But now I'm in a position to put my page in front of them and give them what they want and make money in the process.
Here's what I do. I fire up multiple free tools and find out what keyword is being searched a lot of times and determine if there are any other marketers answering the requests of this keyword niche market. A lot of times, regardless of market, a keyword niche markets request isn't being handled directly. These people, however, are probably being taken care of indirectly from a fallout page. How? There is always a page that is "close enough" related that will be getting the traffic. If I make sure that I am "dead on", the "close enough" page will be surely bumped and that keyword niche market will then be mine.
At the bottom of this post there is a link to a page with some videos that explain what you want to look for and how to look for it. It demonstrates it with just one tool (a paid tool) but the principles are the same. Just use a combo of your favourite keyword tools and Google to find your keyword niche market and see if anyone else is taking care of them. If not, then you take care of them.
