Hanging With A “Super” Affiliate

Jonathan Volk, one of the many affiliate marketers blogging about how he makes money online isn't just a fly-by-night affiliate marketer. He is a (self proclaimed?) Super Affiliate. Although I would never refer to myself as a super affiliate regardless of my income level, some people like the super hero like title. He is a very smart guy with lots to offer. His blog was one of the first that I started reading when I started to get more serious in this business.

A Likable Guy

Despite my friendly diss about calling himself a super affiliate (or maybe he just suggests that he can help you become a super affiliate, I dunno)...Jonathan comes across as a likable guy and very generous with his information and tips. Sure, he's racking up second tier affiliates but his motives aren't entirely monetary. His goals page states that "my long term goals are to start a charity that starts churches, orphanages, and even school". Given the benefit of the doubt, it's a commendable long term goal if you ask me.

He Pays 5 Cents For Each New Visitor

Jonathan started a pay-per-click program recently giving 5 cents for each click from your site to his. He obviously has his stats figured down to the penny if he knows that there will be a ROI paying 5 cents for any new visitor. It was an easy one for me to join, he provides a lot of valuable info that I would be linking to anyways. One bit of advice for the program if you're reading this Jonathan... it would be nice if you offered flexible destination links. That way we could link directly to the affiliate program, certain blog posts and any other deep linking. I know he uses a 3rd part app to manage this program, hopefully they have that capability and he implements it.
