EDIT: This service is currently closed.
I started a Blog Series a couple of days ago which explains how to setup a WordPress blog. The series is far from over but I am getting emails from some people saying that they would like to quickly get past the setup part and just get into blogging. A couple said that they have no desire to learn the technical aspects, while some need more of the basics explained. For those of you that need more of the basics explained, ask me a specific question and I will delve deeper into the topic. Anyone that would simply like the blog installed for them I can help there as well.
There are still a lot of technical things that need to be done to a blog to help promote it and monetize it but those things can be done a little at a time. If you just want to get to the point where you can start writing, I offer a free professional installation service for WordPress.
Free? What's The Catch?
Of course there's a catch. But when I say that it is free, I mean you won't have to pay me anything. However, you need web hosting anyway. That is where there will be money out of pocket regardless of the situation. If you already purchased hosting, see about a refund. Buy hosting through one of my links and all you'll have to do is pay the hosting provider. Let the hosting provider pay me for referring you as a new customer. As long as the commission to me is $75 or more I will setup your blog free of charge. If it's too late and you have purchased hosting that you can't get a refund for, I will do the same work for $75.
Hosting for WordPress
Like I mentioned, you need hosting. Once the hosting package is paid for, I will do the rest. I will need your password (which you can change later) so that I can get into the Control Panel and do the necessary configuration. In the section below, I will explain exactly what is involved with the service.
I will work with just about any host as long as I have an affiliation with them and as long as the commission meets my $75 minimum. Generally you would be required to pay a year in advance for me to see a commission of that amount. Contact me with the host name and I'll let you know if it qualifies.
If you aren't new here you probably already know that I recommend GoDaddy as a hosting provider. Read the post 'Host Unlimited Web Sites With GoDaddy Deluxe Plan, Plus Get $75 In Ad Credits' to see what exactly you get from GoDaddy for less than $100 per year. There are no hidden costs.

I wanted to post a huge THANK YOU to you Keith, for all of your hard work and dedication to our WaiverSharks project. For anyone reading this article about Keith’s Free Professional Wordpress Installation Service, every word of it is true, and worth every second of your time to consider if you are thinking about starting your own blog.
When this started, I didn’t really understand how this worked, or how it made sense for Keith to do this work for me for free. But, after paying the $75 in hosting, our new blog hasn’t cost us a dime! I still can’t believe it! And best of all, my fiance gets to live his dream of sharing his love of baseball, and fantasy baseball, with the world!
Keith will undoubtedly work with you with the same patience, guidance, and perseverance as he has with us on our new blog, which we feel has turned out even better than expected!
Keith, we owe you so much more than you have asked of us! Thank you again for everything! You are a teacher, and a coach in the truest sense, and we encourage your readers to follow suit, and take you up on this amazing offer of yours! We know they won’t regret it!

Thanks for the feedback Chantelle. Waiver Sharks didn’t turn me into a baseball fan but Scott is a good writer and will captivate a LARGE audience for sure. Good luck with your site and when you are ready, consider that review at JohnChow.com for a surge of traffic!
Best of luck….Keith

Anybody that gets Keith to do the Blog for him/her, can consider himself/herself a lucky person. And I’m serious. Keith set up some Blogs for me, and has been holding my hand ever since.
Chantelle mentioned Keith is a good teacher. I pronounce him to be an excellent Spec. Ed.Teacher. He seems to have unlimited patience. I am a retired Spec. Ed. Teacher, and I know the frustration you go through when students can’t seem to grasp simple concepts.
Well I’m the epitome of Newbie. And Keith will explain, and explain, again.
Anybody better grab him now, before he gets so busy that he will have to “close the door”.
And I can’t forget to mention he does the job fast, and professionally.
He’s the best of the best, and I’m not kidding. Grab him now!!.

Blushing, Keith?? Wow, and I never imagined I had the power, at my age, to make
anybody blush. You made my day.
