Make Money Online

I've been through a lot in my career in computers and have tried my hand at various businesses and business models. I have lots of failed attempts, more than I can count. I also have been willing to struggle financially to make attempts at a solid business so as to not have to work a 9 to 5.

I'm not afraid of putting in work, nor am I lazy. I've tried my hand at construction even though I'm not very handy. I've worked some really whacked out jobs but none have really fit me or my personality. I get inspired to work at the oddest times and it's fits me perfectly to work from home. Truthfully, a regular job just isn't for me.

As you probably know I don't really share specific info about my earnings and I never will. I might show off some early minor earnings for a new program that I'd like to get people interested in just as proof of money making potential, but I don't get into specifics about my income in this blog. But I will share this...

Recently, a few weeks ago now, a couple huge money faucets have turned on and show no signs of stopping. It brought me to a whole new level and I'm pretty excited about it. I don't suspect I will EVER return to a 9 to 5, especially with the way things are progressing. It is truly possible to earn a year's income in just a few short weeks online if you keep at it.

The ways that I earn my income aren't any different than what I have shared throughout this blog. Put this stuff into action and reap the rewards.

Some Thank Yous

This is going to be a pretty lengthy post. I don't suspect too many will read it all the way through but it's important that I write this out.

I'm not really the most confident guy around...but even the slightest words, if they sound believable, can change that for me....for example...

Chantelle Matthews - Starting A Business

My first thank-you. Chantelle Matthews of WaiverSharks.com and GroovyTs.com sort of inspired me to start my own business many years ago which put me in the mind frame to succeed. She just casually suggested that I start up a sole proprietorship and do my own thing, not to rely on a flaky business partner (sorry Ron) and her words gave me the courage to get started on my own. Thanks Chantelle!

Brian Fuller - Starting Affiliate Marketing

Then there's Brian Fuller. He was merely showing off his web site and thought he was cool (jk) :) but he showed me that having web design skills would allow me to earn a residual passive income by doing affiliate marketing. He didn't call it that and I really didn't know what it was called but I understood the concept and started immediately. Last I know about Brian is that he is still running the web site which he promotes Windsor, Ontario hotels on. So...there's a back link for ya for what it's worth. Thanks man.

Starting My Blog

I was inspired by my friend Val to start this blog. Thanks Val :)

Education

That was really it as far as encouragement in the early stages. Now...as far as education... I have no real gurus or one-on-one mentors but I do owe some of my education to a few people out there...

Travis Sago - Bum Marketing

I learned about the Bum Marketing Method from Travis Sago and it has earned me some great loot. It was great info. Thanks for the Bum Marketing education Travis.

Charles Heflin - Search Engine Proven Synonyms

I learned about what is called "Search Engine Proven Synonyms" (SEPS) from Charles Heflin. Using SEPS can help you rank well in Google using keywords synonyms...not synonyms in the English Dictionary sense of the word, but Search Engine Proven Synonyms. Thanks Charles.

Speed PPC Campaign Builder

Thanks to Amit from Super Affiliate Mindset for discussing the tool Efficient PPC for quickly building PPC campaigns. He compared it to Speed PPC. I saw right through his words as a way to promote his friends software and decided to go with SpeedPPC. I'm very happy that I did. It paid for itself quickly. SpeedPPC rocks...I can't compare it to Efficient PPC cause I have never used it but from what I have read around the blogosphere I have made the right choice.

Gary Conn - Micro Niche Finder - StumbleUpon

Garry Conn suggested a great keyword tool called Micro Niche Finder. Great suggestion Garry...it has helped in making some serious cash. Also, his StumbleUpon article has proved to be effective for me. Very thorough and very smartly written. Thanks Garry!

John Cow - Facebook

And the JohnCow.com blog... Geez...what haven't I learned from there? How he used the biggest social network, Facebook on his former GamerzReviews site has proved to be invaluable for me. And the free Build A Blog, Not A Business eBook is phenomenal. Thanks, um, whatever your name is :)

Ongoing Support

A quick thanks to my brother in law Sav. Awhile ago he said to me something like...'you will make it big online one day'...I said 'you think so?'...he said 'you think about it constantly, you're bound to'. I paraphrased a bit and I don't know if it was meant to be a compliment or encouragement but it was! Thanks bro!

Now of course, my girlfriend Donna. Major supporter in what I do. Always has nice things to say, picked up the slack financially and never complained when I wasn't pulling in as much as I had hoped for despite the hours that I have put in. She has been a MAJOR part of my success. Thanks Donna :) And I can't forget my daughter Maizey who certainly helps keep me motivated. See her in this post.

Where have you learned the most online that you have put to use and that has actually earned you money? (feel free to use links) Who keeps you motivated and offers encouragement?

You’re very welcome… I haven’t left just yet… on page three at the moment. You have got some really great posts here Keith. Regretfully, I stay very busy which doesn’t afford me the time to venture out too far. Tonight I have a little case of writers block so I am trying to make the best use of it. ;)

    Hi Keith,

I’m very happy to hear from you that you’re having great success and doing what you make happy and fullfills you.

As for me, I’m going thru a major crisis. I realize that the whole MMO stuff interest me a lot and I’m putting in quite a lot of my little spare time, but I’m not sure if this is only for greed (I would like to gain some more freedom and I’m dreaminf about a passive income) because I’ve to admit that doing this doesn’t make me feel… empowered.

Let’s see where this (internal) storm will lead me :)

Congrats Keith! Great to hear you are having success at this and keep it up. Don’t get complacent now (which is easy to do), keep pushing yourself to new levels.

Complacency….yeah it’s a trap…I set new goals the other day…I’m still pushing…thanks for comment WayneDog

Wow…how unexpected! You are more than welcome for the encouragement. I believe in you as much…no, even more than I did back then. I didn’t know back then how much potential all of this could have, but knew that there was so much you could do with your knowledge. Every time we talk now, you inspire me! You have taken things to a level I didn’t know was possible, and taught me many things in the process. Thank you, Keith. And congratulations on every bit of success that you experience! I am honored to call you my friend :-)

  12. Keith James Lock Says:

Thanks Chantelle…hope the pregnancy is going well :)

Well, “The Secret” is just a tool, exactly like my car. The problem is that at this moment I’m looking for the purpose of my life, which is where I want to go, where I’ve to head my car.

It isn’t easy to let go and to leave old beliefs and habits and accept the new which wants to come out, but I’ve to get thru of it.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

    Have a great day !

    Keith,

Your story inspires me to do my best. I know that if I keep with it all, one day I can reach that level of comfort, yet still have that stive to do more (as you do). You are a true mentor for many.

  15. Keith James Lock Says:

    Thanks Barb :)

  16. Big Blogger@Personal Development Says:

    One more thing.
Keith, you’re a giving person, I see it how you share ideas and encouragement on your blog and you have even a banner for a charity foundation on your blog.
Now that things are going great for you, consider the habit of giving for charity a fixed % of your earnings every month. This will expand your abundance mindset and will attract even more abundance.

I do this since last year and this spring I’ve got an extraordinary month regarding my Adsense earnings (it was 10 times what I normally earn). That month i felt somehow uncomfortable to give away the normal %, because it was as hign as the amount which I earn in a normal month, but with that money I was able to help a lot of people, that helped me overcome that uncomfortable feeling.
Now I’m in the position that I can’t wait to see how much I’ve earned at the end of the month to see how many loans I’m able to lend on Kiva.

    ciao
    alex

  17. Keith James Lock Says:

@Big Blogger…thanks man…after I deal with a couple of things I will take a look at Kiva again for sure…i’ll keep you in mind when I do and let ya know what’s going on.

  18. Susan@Short Sale Says:

Congrats on finding your ‘niche’ and feeling free of the 9 to 5. It’s a great feeling once you can wedge yourself into the ’self-employed’ area.

    Thanks Susan :) Appreciate it…
