CDF Networks proposed a "1 for charity blogger challenge " and I’m all for it. His heart’s in the right place. This is the second act of kindness in the past few days from him. The first being his mentor for a week contest . The premise of the charity challenge is to simply give "up 1 block of adspace" to direct link to a charity.
My First Daughter Samantha Was Born With Cornelia deLange Syndrome
For the Charity challenge I chose to link to the CdLS Organization. My daughter Samantha was born in March of 2002 with a rare genetic disorder called Cornelia deLange Syndrome. The CdLS USA Foundation accepts all sorts of donations to help make the lives of these children a little more comfortable and enjoyable. The picture of Samantha in this post is from 2005. I regretfully do not see her as often as I would like to. With the difficulties of the relationship with Samantha’s mom and I, I just gave up fighting after awhile. I miss Samantha like crazy :(
